2023 Light Dry Red

The 2023 LDR is a 50/50 blend of organic Pinot Noir and Syrah grown in Martinborough and Bridge Pā. 

The 2023 harvest was a crazy one as we all know, wet and cold but it did however create an opportunity for a Pinot Noir x Syrah co-ferment. Both hand picked, the Pinot was destemmed and two days later topped with whole bunch Syrah. One gentle foot tread or plunge a day if needed and pressed off of skins 10 days later to seasoned oak.

A light savoury style wine with aromas of tamarillo, redcurrents and whole bunch steminess. Undertones of cherries, spice and crunchy woody herbs add to feel that the wine is equal parts savoury and vibrantly fresh.

Racked to bottle unfined and unfiltered.

11% alcohol- it is light, dry and delicious.

Vegan friendly. May through harmless deposit in bottle.
